India Engages with Committee of Ten (C-10) Group: Strengthening Africa’s Role in Global Finance

India recently participated in the inaugural Joint Ministerial Meeting of the C-10 and L.69 groupings. L.69 represents countries from diverse regions, including Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Pacific Islands, and Asia, with India being an active member. The collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing global cooperation and shared interests.


About C-10 Group

The Committee of Ten (C-10) African Ministers of Finance and Central Bank Governors was established in 2008. Its members include Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, the Central Bank of West African States (CBWAS), and the Central Bank of Central African States (CBCAS). The primary mission of C-10 is to advocate for greater African participation in the governance of international financial institutions (IFIs), ensuring the continent’s voice is heard on the global financial stage.
